Fall Family Portraits in Charlotte, NC
Could it be possible to have the perfect portrait session? An afternoon taking photographs of a family that is so crazy and fun together that within minutes you want to be their best friend? There is a reason I have seven photographs from this session displayed on the wall in my studio office, and it's because I loved this session so much. The children were adorable, and the parents were sweet, kind, fun, and all-around good people. The kids were giggly and active but laughing for the majority of the session. I do recall one moment when all three kids jumped on my back to tackle me, but that is just how I roll. But it wasn't just the fun moments from this session. I loved the simple styling and colors. I love off-white, tan, and cream, along with the jeans, but then there is the little pop of pink from the inside of the oldest daughter's jacket for just a smidge of color pop. There were casual and dressy all at once, and the outfit selection paired perfectly with the tan color of the walls in their living room. When I painted my studio office, I selected a color that would match the outfits because I loved the color so much, and I later used that same wall color in my new home. But this photograph stands for everything I want to deliver for all of my clients after their portrait session - an adorable portrait showing a happy family with casual elegance and fun.Location: Marvin, North Carolina.
