According to vocabulary.com, "Your perspective is the way you see something".
During this session, I took a different perspective and approach to this staircase I have used during countless portrait sessions before this one. Sometimes, approaching a location from a different angle can give you a new point of view, and an entirely new way to photograph a location.
There is a moodiness to this stairway when approached from the top, and my client's pose and expression bring a dreamy quality to photograph. I loved having a new perspective of this location, and was even more excited when the National Association of Professional Child Photographers chose to feature this photograph in the January issue of Inspired Magazine. This photograph was a two page spread introducing the Inspirations section for the theme "Perspective".
